Planning Your Schedule
Something is always going on at UCU, and for your sake it is important to properly plan your schedule to get as much as you can out of the experience of living here.
We have weekly events that offer an opportunity to go in-depth with God's word. Monday night worship and Bible study is a mandatory part of living at UCU. It is held each week from 6:15-7:30 pm, followed by a house meeting. The house meeting times vary, but typically last until around 8:30pm. You can participate in other Bible study, prayer, and ministry activities at UCU as well.
Don't forget to factor in travel time to class. It typically takes about 10 minutes to walk from the door of UCU to Kane Hall, so if your classes are down in the nether-regions of campus, make sure to get up a little bit earlier or cut that conversation a bit short.
Social opportunities abound at UCU, whether it's a late night run to Dick's for a burger, a pickleball tournament at the IMA, or one of UCU's traditional special events.
UCU has a high speed Internet connection to help you get your classwork done. Students study in their rooms, or in common areas such as the dining room or living room. If you prefer to study on campus, it's just a short walk to Odegaard or Suzzallo.
