Special Events

Aside from the normal hubbub at UCU, special events are held multiple times a year. Every fall quarter is an offsite retreat, which takes place before classes start. There is a Halloween party during the last week of October, a full turkey dinner at Thanksgiving, and a Christmas party the first week of December. Java Night, held in the last week of February, is an opportunity to enjoy some coffee and a talent show from current and former UCU members. Week of Man is an opportunity for the men's house to unite around their manliness and take part in an epic quest to outdo each other in feats of personal style and hygiene (or lack thereof). During Pixie Week the ladies dress up and get all pretty before heading for a fun time around town. Last but not least, there is a final retreat held in the middle of spring quarter where UCU'ers can get away for a weekend and enjoy the pending summer. The fun never stops at UCU!
